NEWSPEAK:
"Guests of Her Majesty the Queen", Also:
"Jailed voters"
(This is actually from an Ontario government publication!)
ORIGINAL
MEANING: People invited by the Queen to an official function
NEW
MEANING:
Jailed criminals.
While
jailed people have not lost their fundamental human rights, they
have lost many freedoms, including, you would think, the freedom
to vote.
This
is not so in Ontario! The "Guests of Her Majesty the
Queen" enjoy the right to vote!
Would
you guess that they would be more sympathetic to a
"progressive" government that will give them early
parole? Which party do you think favours their right to vote?
