Honest
politicians do not use "compassion" as a cheap political
technique playing on the emotion of the masses (I.e. the
Clintonian "I feel your pain").
The
FCP truly regards all human beings as worthy of dignity, equal
opportunity and inherent value.
True
compassion does not come in the Robin Hood style (taking from the
rich and giving to the poor), or short term style (borrowing
from the next generation or taking from the successful), but
uses its best ability to improve the real economic condition of
the poor and give them equal opportunity for success.
True
compassion expresses itself in governments that are not boastful
or autocratic. True compassion (charity and generosity) cannot
be imposed by government through taxation and is not "collective". True compassion is
the expression of individual involvement.
Tue
compassion is the expression of the best effort we can do to
improve the human condition, enhancing the lifestyle of all
through education, the transfer of experience to the youth and
the creation of wealth.
True
compassion does not forget the individual value and dignity of
each person and does not forget that we are stewards of the
environment for the next generations.
Finally,
true compassion prioritizes man and his innate value, his marvelous
intellect, his capacity to love and his unique soul.
